I love to window shop eclectic Main Street, with its quaint country flair. The individual-owned boutiques and eateries are as diverse as my mood. This historic row of merchantry reminds me how people have been village shopping and socializing for well over a century here.

Blessed with a stellar geography, Warwick is nestled among the hilly terrain of the Adirondack Trail, deep within the Hudson Valley. It surrounds areas of the Wallkill River, Wickham Lake and Greenwood Lake among other bodies of water.
The town’s history is truly unrivaled. The historic society here went to extreme pains to preserve 9 historic sites that truly will delight the historian in you. Here are some recommended stops. I love it because the quaint bed & breakfasts, local boutiques, fine to casual eateries, coffee shops and weekly farm markets are all integrally back-dropped by Warwick’s rich history. It truly is a testament to our meticulous efforts at preservation as a community. Having served on the historical society, my interest in history is central to my love for what’s here.

Here, you can revel in a do-nothing weekend, or go for it all. It is the ultimate escape to the country, but when it’s time to go out, it’s got a killer list of entertainments that will get you socializing faster than you can say, “New York.”
