Wickham Woodlands is a historic tract of land dating back to 1702. It has a 150-year-old manor house and was a site for a vocational school for boys and afterwards, a former prison dating 100 years back. It has now been converted into a bucolic park with biking trails and picnicking as well as a new sports complex for area youth.
