Wellesley, MA —
After the all Bustle of Boston

After the all bustle of Boston, a quick commuter train ride brings us home to Wellesley, Massachusetts, with barely enough time to rest our eyes. It offers us a warm reward home, for those of us who've toiled in the concrete jungle of Boston all day.

We love living in Wellesley because while it feels so safe and secluded, we know we are only a quick commuter train ride to the city. Then on the weekend, if we want to head west, or up to the NH mountains, we are about a minute from the turnpike.

What brings folks to Wellesley?
A ride through the oak lined streets of our town answers that question in an instant. For those of us lucky enough to live here, it doesn't leave much to be desired. But there is more to Wellesley than what you see out your car window. Wellesley has the top rated education system in the State of Massachusetts, as well as Babson and Wellesley Colleges.

"Wellesley is known for its standing as a Green Power Community for low energy consumption."

In the summer, pull out your lawn chairs and blanket, and take advantage of the Wellesley Summertime Concerts every Wednesday evening. To really enjoy the outdoors, the Wellesley Trail Committee offers walking trails that are woven into the towns 'neighborhoods, out into Boulder Brook and Centennial Reservations.

We're the type of town that is always looking ahead, while proudly preserving our historic past. Wellesley is known for its standing as a Green Power Community for low energy consumption, and "set-asides" for open green spaces. As part of our town charter, the town has always worked to recycled older buildings to preserve its' history, which includes the Cottage Street Historic District.
