North County Bike Trailway

This quiet scape of picturesque lake communities is perfect for the active, contemplative or easygoing lifestyle. One of my favorite things about Somers is the North County Bike Trailway! It is a 22 mile paved trail through the woods used by bicycle rider, runners and walkers. I love riding with my husband as I am terrified to ride on the road. Sometimes, we will stop in the next town for a snack at a curbside café. The trail also passes Stuart’s Farm where you can pick apples, pumpkins, peaches or cut a Christmas tree, of course you will need a car for this visit!

Somers is the home to a condominium community called Heritage Hills. The complex is very desirable offering condominiums to fit anyone's needs. Amenities includes several pools and tennis courts scattered throughout, a clubhouse, fitness center, bocce ball and many other clubs and activities. A private 9 hole and 18 hole golf courses are also located on the property.
Although Somers has a "small town" feel, it is in close proximity to Danbury, CT, White Plains, NY and major highways. Danbury and White Plains are small cities offering larger options for shopping and more!
