Eastham, MA —
A quaint little town on the outer peninsula of Cape Cod

Eastham, Massachusetts is a quaint little town on the outer peninsula of Cape Cod. To the east, you’ll see the Atlantic Ocean and home to the famous Coast Guard Beach, and the locally popular Nauset Light Beach.

The Cape Cod Rail Trail passes right through the entire length of Eastham. You can jump on your bike and peddle all the way to Dennis or head up to Wellfleet. Another option for a great day is to stay in town and take the Trail to the Salt Pond Visitor Center. It’s part of the Cape Cod National Seashore which makes up one third of the town. There you will find historical artifacts, activities, information and more trails that go right down to the beach!

Head over to the west side of town, which is home to numerous Cape Cod Bay beaches. Here the water is warmer and calmer, and perfect for the little ones. The bay is also great for boating, clamming, fishing and strolling the extensive tidal flats. An iconic sunset on Eastham bay will end your day perfectly.
